Fronting a series of bands, across a wide range of styles, his talent as a writer of quality songs soon began to emerge. He has spent the last few years working under his own name with support from a range of top class musicians, and has produced two substantial pieces of recorded work. Now though, he's found two fellow travellers, and is back in front of a real band: Knight, Othen and Smith

Simon Othen : best known for his recordings and performances with radical folk outfit 'The Machine Breakers', Simon earned his stripes playing acoustic and electric guitars & mandolins in a wide variety of professional bands up and down the country. Very much the musician's musician.

Paul Smith : the veteran of the band. Paul has played bass in a variety of ground-breaking bands around the midlands and west country for longer than he cares to remember. He first teamed up with Jamie early in 1999, shortly after switching from electric to double bass. His passion for the acoustic instrument has contributed a distinctive edge to Jamie's music ever since, and continues to do so in the new band.
